Any easily assessable areas to set up TR's around town? Any info is appreciated
Thanks,

Classic Crack at Broughton Bluff. You can scramble to the anchor from the left.

There are a couple in the hanging gardens area at broughton that can be top roped as well. Also, most climbs can be toproped at rocky butte since you start at the top of the cliff.

Watchout for needles, broken glass bottles, and used condoms at Rocky Butte -- it is nice being so close, but that comes at the expense of non-climbers doing crazy things there.

Last time I was there I threw my rope down over the cliff, rappelled down. Only to see a field of broken glass beer bottles. It was quite lovely.

I rather drive an extra hour up to one of the many spots around Mount Hood that offer top rope without all the trash.

i'd go to broughton bluff

edges and ledges and the sickle are good top rope climbs. If you want to do your first lead giant staircase is the next route over and is about as easy as it gets.

A bit harder (to set up TR and climb) but a great climb is tip city, just a couple routes over from the sickle.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
