Thinking about a pair of these but haven't been able to find reviews on the durability of the Arcteryx Accrux. The soles are coming off my approach shoes so it's time for new ones.

How has the durability been for you? There are a few different kinds and can't decide if the extra cost is worth it for the Gore-Tex and would love to hear what experiences are out there good or bad.

Not set on picking up a pair but have become a believer in the dead bird gear cause it seems to outlast anything in the gear closet.

Thanks!
Matt

So far I love mine. Feel bombproof, I've already put them through some 'fun' terrain this summer in the Tetons. I put a review on them in the review thread somewhere recently.

I've only worn mine around town and some short approaches, about 30 mins, but I would not question their durability to this point. My first impression when taking the shoes out of the box were that The upper and vibram soles were much more beefy than I expected from looking at pictures.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
