Bouldering or sport/TR near Ohiopyle, PA // Washington DC

Hi All,
I'm arranging a bachelor party outdoor weekend for my friend. We'll be rafting/camping in Ohiopyle and would like to do some climbing. Everyone will be driving out from Washington DC except for maybe me.

Most of us (7 total) have indoor bouldering experience (indoor V5s... probably V2/3 outdoor), and we have 1 sport leader + 1 trad leader.

I'm looking for suggestions on places since I don't know the region that well. Does anyone have suggestions for a moderate 0.75 day bouldering up to V4 or TR up to 5.11 in the area or between Ohiopyle and DC?

Thanks a bunch!

coopers rock is really good. It has a good mix of boulder and trad. There is some stuff in Ohiopyle but I have not climbed there.

Also, be sure to check out the natural waterslide in Ohiopyle!

Coopers is great but pretty far out of the way if you just want a day session. There is some decent sport climbing at Ohiopyle that is right along the Yough on the other side of the Great Allegheny Passage. Tim Anderson has a pretty thorough guide of the area at climbpa.blogspot.com/p/blog…

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
