Anyone have any cool retired rope art projects going on I could contribute to, or something of that nature ?

I should probably specify I live in Boulder.

You can drop it off at any gym and they send them in. I think they become carpet or something, not new ropes.

Might try to recycle your rope with Green Guru, although I'm not 100% sure they're still accepting ropes. They're in Boulder. greengurugear.com/pages/rec…

Not art, but try an equestrian or horse packer.

I see alot of people on here asking for other's used ropes. You could just keep an eye on the forums and send someone the rope then.

edelrid also has a template to make your own mini-carpet with an old rope. they include it with any of their new ropes....kinda cool. probably on their website.

Thx everyone. I'm moving far far away in a week so I needed to get rid of it quick/don't have time to spend surfing mtn proj forums, as fruitful as they can be... the rope has a new home now, rug pending. Thx again !

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
