Why isn't Hynd's Lodge on MP?

Did some climbing at Hynds Lodge which is part of Curt Gowdy State Park. There are a lot of boulder problems and several routes that I think are worth the extra drive time. Just trying to figure out why these routes haven't made it on mountain project?

I have heard about that book but it seems pretty hard to find. Can you fill me in on what is said?

The Cracks men Can Be Found At The UW library.
I believe at one point there were some landowner issues out there but not certain. The jackal is one of the best routes in vedauwoo I think. Good luck on your search. I used to have topos for this area but I think they are lost now.

I can't find any information whatsoever on the climbing in that area. Which of the cracks is the Jackel? Considering it is part of Curt Gowdy, climbers appear to be welcome at Hynds.

I can tell you why it’s not in “Rock Climbing at Vedauwoo, Wyoming”. Starting with the information in “The Cracksmen” by Bob Scarpelli, I spent some time scouting and climbing (quite enjoyable) at Hynds Lodge. Before deciding to enter it in the guidebook, I had some nice conversations with the Rangers. They had no objections to climbing per se but wanted to have times when it would be prohibited, e.g., when there was a wedding going on at Hynds Lodge, which would exclude many weekends in June and July. Given these restrictions, I decided it was a nice area to climb in as long as it didn’t get a lot of traffic, which might lead to a ban on climbing there. I still think it’s best left as a word-of-mouth area even though I imagine it will eventually find its way on to MP or into a guidebook. It won’t be the end of the world, but I’d prefer that not happen.

There were also some other areas I excluded based on private land holdings or possible conflicts with other established uses.
