New to Grand Junction, need friends (human or camming device acceptable)

Me and my GF (also a climber)just moved to Grand Junction last month. All my climbing buddies are on the far side of the mountains and I am in need of some new climbing friends. I have a couple racks and a good amount of experience with trad and sport. I haven't done much aid climbing, but I would happily belay someone to gain some experience at it.

So how about this Sunday to start? Anyone need a partner around Junction or Moab? The creek might be a bit far of a trip for me this weekend, but I would be stoked on heading down there on another weekend. I always carry a stocked cooler of beer since bribery usually helps me make friends faster. I can lead sport up to low 5.11 (on a good low gravity day) and lead trad up to easy 5.9.

I work M-F and am usually done by 3:30. I can get out earlier if I have reason to though, and can pull half days and the occasional full day off during the week if the proposition is good enough.

If Sunday won't work but you are interested in getting out another time hit me up as well.

My wife and I moved to the Junction area from Boulder in Feb. We have been staying in shape at GVC. I am also looking for a partner for gym leading and outdoors sport/trad. I have sport gear. I work M-F as well. Sunday could work. We are going to GVC tonight.

Hey Carl, Glad to see you finally got to make your move. I'll miss you here though. Have Fun!

My GF and I will be making the move to GJ from Boulder within the next 3 months and will hit you up when we get there. We went out there about 3 weeks ago to check out some areas to live, and climbed at GVC while we were there.

My GF and I are finally settled in to GJ, and even joined GVC so we are up for meeting other climbers, hosting BBQ's, etc.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
