Ice Pond Climbing

Ice Pond is an area found by John K located just off Route 84 in Brewster Hill, NY. 

Home to some quality boulders on bomber Putnam County gneiss.

Some things to note: 

• Parking is limited and access is sensitive.  The locals are not too thrilled about their road being overrun with poorly parked cars, so please be cognizant, only park fully on the shoulder, carpool if possible, and if there truly isn't space to park well, consider going somewhere else for the day - your project will still be there tomorrow.  
• Look for private property signs on trees!  Respect area boundaries and recognize that not all woods there are public woods - this especially pertains to the woods off the right side of the fire road.
