I'm headed to Europe for culture and climbing for five weeks July 16th. I'll be in Paris 5 days and may check out Font for a couple of days, then will be looking to climb in the Alps and Dolomites. I'm into sport and trad and bouldering too. I'm especially looking forward to long routes in the mountains. I lead 10+ trad and sport, depending on protection. Have been climbing 13 years and am very experienced. Let me know if you're around any of those areas during those times and would like to climb.

Hey Hollyday,

If you get to the Dolomites in time I would like to do a long, classic trad climb on the 22nd or 23rd of July. (I have a maybe partner, but it sounds like a party of 3.)
Sounds like our abilities/goals might line up nicely.
I'll be in the eastern Dolomites, staying near Cortina d' Amprezzo (and Tre Cime di Lavardo, want to climb one of those?)
I may also be able to swing the 24th if that is all that works for you.
Let me know,
Mark

Thanks Mark. I will hit you up if I can get to Italy during your travel dates.

I'll be in Northern Italy roughly the same time period. I'm planning to be in Chamonix area July 25-31, and Dolomites August 9-14. I can lead up to 11+ trad and I'll have a full rack and ropes. Get in touch if those dates work and you'd like to climb!

Hello Everyone!

I'm traveling around Europe for the next few weeks and would love to get in some time in the mountains. I'm in Hungary at the moment, but have no concrete itinerary, so could head towards Switzerland or Italy within this next month. It seems perhaps I am of a slightly different caliber than you lot--I lead 5.6-5.7 trad :), but could follow .9's or low 10's--and would be thrilled for the chance to partake of some longer moderate climbs if anybody needs a partner on a rest day.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
