Description Suggest change

There are nearly 30 areas between two main areas of the Fichtelgebirge and Steinwald (Stone Forest), with vast unexplored bouldering opportunities. These crags lie not far to the Northeast of the Frankenjura crags with drastically different rock formation.
The stone is granite and of interesting formation would make any geologist giddy.
It may behoove one to read route descriptions carefully and bring a few friends and tri-cams along while many of the sport routes are dangerously run out. A full trad rack will open many creative opportunities. Rudolfsteiner in Fichtelgebirge, and the Räuberfelsen (Robber Rocks) in the stone forest are two of the more developed and frequented areas.

Hiking is also popular in the area as the trails are well developed and the scenery is mystical.
