Hey Y'all
we climbed on the north side of Looking Glass this weekend.
While top roping Killer Whales I grabed a jug in the upper third not too far from the anchors. I moved together with this huge flake backwards. Fortunatly I managed not to throw it down to my belay buddy.
Because we were so close to a serious accident we decided to give it a controled way down without people standing below it.
Please watch out climbing that route. there might be some small stuff left.

Hope y'all support our decision.

Thanks for the heads up. I am trying to imagine where this could be. If you move far to the left or right, both have large friable flakes. How far away from the bolt line were you? It helps to stay really close to the seam. I know shrimp cocktail to the right has some suspect flakes.

Maybe someone can take a picture of the route when they are over there and post it up.

Thanks for the photo and the removal. That thing looks pretty big. I have always done the upper section of Killer Whales to the left of the bolt line. One reason I avoid leading it's neighbor to the right, Shrimp Cocktail, is because of that upper section having such terrible rock. Glad nobody was injured.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
