Pine Pitch Removal

anyone got any tips for removing Sap/ Pitch from Climbing rope and also from Climbing shoe rubber?

Not sure about with climbing gear, but I've used Pam cooking spray on clothes. Someone told me about it and I didn't believe them until I tried it. It actually works.

Dunno about the rope, but anything else, scrape most of the pitch off then use a bit of hand sanitizer to remove traces..

use hand sanitizer. I use it to get sap out of my clothes and it works pretty good.

Climb with the rope. It'll go away fast.
