Hey....
Random question but time to re-up and while I've been with verizon for a while, I'd love to ditch them. But their coverage seems pretty good and I'm wondering how t-mobile stacks up...

Any beta on t-mobile service in the boulder / front range zone??

Here's a pic of... maybe Angela Merkel, and some random dude for your time....

As much as I hate their pricing structure, verizon is pretty darn hard to beat for coverage. Couple low spots here and there for some reason, but I almost always have great service.

Yeah... I know their coverage is pretty good.... but that pricing structure... ugh. I'm hoping t-mobile coverage might be as good.....

Sorry, but tmobile just isn't as good. You get free roaming on AT&T, so I usually have service in a pinch, but it's a little annoying when I have spotty roaming service and my friend with Verizon has 4G. Still can't beat the price or the customer service though.

i'll give you a secret Verizon hint. if you can provide a phone (or don't mind buying a slightly older model), they now offer 4g on their prepaid plans for $45/month. can't beat that anywhere...

My buddy came and visited a could weeks ago from MN. He has T-mobile and I have Verizon. He was hit with lots of dead zones. I think he had issue in Estes and Ned with signal, while I had full bars. T-mobile has crappy coverage, and Verizon is huge and can charge whatever they want. It's hard to win.

i have Tmobile. My climbing partner has verizon.

I fucking never have service, ever, fucking not even ever past the front range area.

My partner has it pretty consistently.

tmobile has a good family plan though, so i stick with them for now.

As crazy as it may sound, Sprint is the only other provider that I would ever use in the Boulder / Front Range area, and pretty much while climbing anywhere else in the state. We have done side by side by side by side comparisons while climbing. Verizon takes the cake by far, Sprint doesn't always have amazing service but they have pretty good coverage, AT&T has good service but very spotty coverage, and T-Mobile absolutely sucks.

I have Sprint. Sprint's roaming is much, much better than AT&T because of the way their piggyback network contracts are structured. While I don't get a lot of data climbing 14ers, I almost always have some service which is slightly comforting in case an emergency call is needed.

You know you don't even need to be on a service plan to dial 911 right?

The way to win is to go to a prepaid plan with Verizon.

By accepting a subsidized phone, you willingly accept the Verizon buttjam.

Take a carrier unlock iphone (used or new), put a Verizon sim in there, and pay $40 month with 1GB of data.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
