Climbing in Spain: 7/13-7/27

Hey guys!

My name is Charlie and I am heading to Spain Sunday on a solo trip, but would love to link up with some climbers! Flexible on location, but Barcelona area is what I was thinking (maybe outside of Valencia/Malaga? Too hot??).

Anyways, I'm 29, lots of outdoor experience, laid back, and just generally looking for someone fun to get into the mountains with. I can lead up to 11+ clean and hangdog/clip chains up to say 12- (6C a 7A). That said, would be perfectly fine climbing 9s and 10s (6A) all day - just looking to get out on the rock!

We are Ryan and Jen and we are also headed to Spain to climb after or around the 20th of July.
We are in Italy now. We sport climb single pitch routes, Ryan can comfortably lead a 5.10. Mostly we just like to get out on the rock and have funwith it, just like you.

We have been traveling Europe for two months and head back to Colorado on August 7th. The most important things for us right now is to find an area in northern Spain (cooler climate) that has plenty of sport climbing that is accesible to us by foot or a short bus ride from where we decide to stay. We have no car.

We are doing research now and see what we come up with. We are open to meeting up and exploring together. We'll let you know what we come up with and perhaps you can do the same. It is our first time climbing in Spain, there are so many options it's overwhelming!
