Camping in Castlewood Canyon

Hello!

Anyone have any recommendations of campgrounds close to Castlewood Canyon SP? Looking to climb for a couple days and would love to camp nearby. Any info would be much appreciated!

Unless you can find a KOA somewhere in the area.

the closest is Casey's RV hideaway out in Elizabeth, they do allow tent camping despite the name. Then after that there's Cherry Creek State Park. but that almost double the distance to Castlewood.
