Anyone have a tuning fork just hanging in the closet, wanting to be put to good use? A couple/few of us are starting on a HUGE project, figure we have in excess of 250 bad bolts to replace. UGH.
SO if anyone has tuning forks, would love to score. LA #1 and 3 are preferred, but whatcha got?
Thanks

Yeah, we are working on that aspect. In the meantime, we want to get started. Still looking.
And yes, replacement, not supplement.
Thanks Locker...

Yeah, actually drag a decent crow bar. The forks are great for getting started. Funkness for the end.
I've used the chisel, not sds, broke. Bad metal?
Lots of this is < 3 pitch, so bulk/weight is not so much a big deal. 1/4's, 5/16, and some homegrown funk (things we have only seen in fright movies). Some short 3/8" (1 1/2") but with bedframe hangers (oh joy) so rusted that we will probably have to chop and change them. Oh, the sins of our fathers!
Still want a couple of tuners....

Yeah, i hear ya. I funk when the bolt is longer than the lever on the crowbar. IE when the bolt is >75% out. And i throw the hammer!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
