Dont climb at Moores too often. Heading up Sunday. I know I am good to get down from top of Circus Wall w/ a 70 by way of the Crows Nest. How about from that rap station on Central Wall above Hopscotch (slung boulder I think)? Want to climb Blue Chock. Best I can recall I am fine getting down with a 70 in the Amphitheater as well right? Dont want to take the tag line if I dont have to. Thanks.
Amphitheater is fine with a 70m. Not sure about Blue Chock as I normally used the 4th class downclimb when doing routes in that area.

A single 70m should be fine for all the areas you mention. If you don't want to do the 4th class down climb from the top of Blue Chock, you can do a short 5.easy pitch that goes up and right around the corner to the Hopscotch rap station. It's probably ~40' but you won't be able to see it 'til you're almost on top of it. A single rope rap will get you down from there. If you happen to climb something on Circus Wall first you can look behind you and try to spot it.
The downclimb is way faster, especially on the weekends. It looks scarier than it is and it puts you right back at the base of the Sentinel Buttress. The 70 is great at the amphitheater, but a 60 also works.
Thanks guys. Good beta. Looking forward to some cooler temps and some good climbing at Moores on Sunday. Hope you all are able to get out too.

Years ago, I bought my 1st 70m precisely because of the amphitheater and the rap off of Nutsweat, The rope I had been using was coming up a little too short for my liking (can do both with a 60 but it's close on the Amphitheater and some trickery in the N. End), so when I was in the market, I made sure to get a 70.
