New to Portland and looking for a partner

Hey! I just moved to Portland from Boulder, CO to start grad school. I live in NW Portland so I got a membership at Planet Granite. I've been going for a week or so and haven't really met anyone yet. I would love to find a partner to get on ropes or boulder in the gym (weeknights) or to get outside on the weekends. I lead 5.12ish (+/- however many donuts I had that day) sport and 5.10ish trad and boulder ya know whatever (obligatory grade spray). I'm a super safe belayer and am looking for someone who won't murderball me. I would be willing to check out The Circuit and pay for the dreaded day pass. I would be willing to drive to Smith. I'd pretty much be down for whatever. Be my friend! Hit me up here or PM me.

Hi Chrissy,
I'm in planet granite all the time and consider myself a (very) unofficial ambassador of this town. I love pitching up with folks new to the area, or just plain new climbers... I have been both and the climbing community was there for me! So I'm stoked to pay it forward.

While you're new to Portland, you sound like you're no stranger to getting your crush on. I'm climbing at grades similar to what you described... Clarifying Question- do you climb better with more doughnuts? And suffer when your intake is low? Again, I think we're cut from the same stone! Want to climb next week? Tue or Wed night?

Hey!

Sent you a PM but not sure if it went through. A buddy and I might head to French's Dome tomorrow afternoon depending on how shweaty it gets...Let me know if you want to tag along! Tends to stay somewhat cool and is pretty shaded, so can be kinda fun in the summer.

Other than that, regularly climb at PG and would be psyched to have another partner to climb with.

Let me know!

Hey Chrissy! I'm also really new to this area and have been dying to get outside. I'm a travel nurse from Maryland and mostly do sport with some scattered bouldering outings. I picked up a summer membership at the Circuit NE but I'm down to come do a day pass at Planet Granite if you'd like. I'm trying to get out to Smith Rock sometime in the next few weeks if that sounds good to you. Thanks!

Hey Guys,
I suck at technology and am not sure if my emails/messages have been going through but I would love to climb with ya'll. I'm busy this week with family in town but would love to arrange some gym sessions and talk about climbing outside. Kristan! Ambassador me! Daniel, I think I texted you? Sorry I missed you this weekend. Blaise, I will send you a PM.

Hey! I am going to be moving from SLC in about six weeks for Grad school this fall and will be looking for partners once I get up there as well! Also looking for a place to live and would love to find one with some fun climbers if any of you know of someone looking! I literally know no one in Portland so I am hoping to find someone with like interests!

Hey all! I'm also relatively new to Portland (moved here in March) and would love to have more climbing partners. I climb at Planet Granite a few times a week and like to climb outside on weekends as much as possible. Have a rope and draws, but no trad gear yet (that's something I'd like to get into this year). Hit me up!

Heyo! Been in Portland 2.5yrs now (less than new here now?) and still don't at all feel like a qualified ambassador.. That said, I jumped ship from PRG to PG recently, seem to be always looking for a regular week night lead climbing playmate, and am getting outside as much as possible, mostly mid week which fits my schedule best and keeps the destinations less than full of the daytrippers.. trips to the n.cascades, alpine time, closer to town, you name it..

I'm a the gym all the time and would love a lead partner during the week. Also psyched to get outside for sport/cracks. I climb 12-ish on good days.
