Malibu bouldering
|
Anyone want to give up beta on the Malibu Tunnel area? Is there any reason this area isn't covered on MP yet? I know it's climbed often enough. I plan on spending some time there this summer. If anybody wants to get together and better establish this place, let me know. |

It's pretty well-established by D. Fritz and some young strong guys. There are some new lines going up though. They've been expanding south. There's a topo online of the new stuff. |

Hi, Joe...... Fritz isn't the only one doing stuff..... The history of that place goes back to the late 70s |
|
Thanks guys. I've only been climbing for a few years but am very involved. I figured there were certain unmentionable places around but seems that climbers are much more open about their spots than surfers are. I hate crowds and most humans but in this age, what can you do? See you on the rocks! |

There are plenty of places in Socal and the world of climbing to go to escape the crowds if you don't mind walking. |

See you on the rocks!Joe.... I like to think that climbing has not gone UGLY like Surfing. .... YET. And Rob.... Tons of deserted spots where you can still drive to the base... and if walking is required... completely deserted, abandoned and forgotten. |

My friend made and posted a free topo to the Tunnel Boulders on his blog a ways back. Scroll back to like Feb 2013 and you'll find it available for download. |
