Vedauwoo conditions?

Hi all, we're headed up to Vedauwoo for a couple of days and wanted to check in with locals on conditions. Mainly concerned about bugginess since I know scattered rain is a fact of life this time of year.

I was up there this weekend. Warm and sunny. Didn't notice any bugs.

Was up there last Saturday and it was very pleasant. Didn't notice any bugs at all and the routes were dry.

My son and I might be heading up that way Thursday, late afternoon. If we meet, I wouldn't mind a belay (or two) since his weight ratio to my weight is a bit on the light side as he is six years old. He can belay me correctly, but...

As I mentioned, we might be heading up to Vedauwoo, but not sure yet. I drive a green VW Jetta with a rocket box. My son and I are thin and blonde.

Hey Shane, thanks for checking in. We were only able to climb for a couple days - took off this afternoon. Had a great time climbing at the Nautilus. Wicked weather in the afternoons kept things interesting.

Hope you guys make it to Vedauwoo, such a special place!
