Should Eldo be avoided tomorrow - will it still be too wet? Whats the ethical thing to do here? Thanks!

I am probably gonna go to eldo tonight!

There are a few climbs that are typically dry even when raining, but maybe not with this much though. Eldo sandstone is more akin to granite than desert sandstone. It is hard as fuck.

I have never heard of ethical concerns climbing after rain in eldo. Someone can correct me if I am wrong though!

I have heard some folks on MP here say not to. I'm hoping to find out the when/why/how long after, etc. I have no idea, so I'm asking...I'd love to get out there tomorrow morning.

And Rick, I did miss that one. Great. Now I feel like an asshat. Oh wait...

Oh absolutely drenched. Terrible conditions....don't even bother. Best to pull on some plastic tomorrow. ;)

There were plenty of people at Eldo yesterday. Climbed Rewritten and only got my hand wet once. So the local ethic isn't too nit picky about wet rock, at least at Eldo.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
