Ive had a pair of La Sportiva Nagos for maybe 7 or 8 months, I was putting them on when I pulled the tongue to straighten them out (not hard) and it ripped out of the shoe. any one else had this problem with their shoes? I thought id blow a hole through the toe if there was going to be any damage, but never suspected the tongue to rip out.

A friend of mine had that happen to her nagos, common problem. If you contact La Sportiva they will probably fix them for you for free, or you can just sew it back in yourself.

I think this post is (wait for it)...tongue-in-cheek. (sorry, I couldn't help it). Technically, it would be tongue-in-hand.

The OP deserves a good tongue lashing. I've owned six pairs of La Sportiva Mythos and a couple pairs of Megas with NO SUCH ISSUES.

I didn't think it would be a common issue, but someone else said they've had the same problem with the nagos, so maybe the nagos are stitched differently from the mythos or others.

First they turn your feet red. Then the tongue gets ripped out. What do the Nagos do to a person next?
