Is there an easy anchor to get to from the top of lost in space instead of walking off?

I've never found one. The walk is pretty easy. Might be able to get over to the top of No Free Lunch?

Is it easy to pull the ropes on the No Free Lunch rappel? I was going to climb it the other day but read that the anchors were set back over the edge as opposed to on the face. Was worried ropes might not pull well and didnt want to walk off.

Pulling the rope is fine. You only need one 70m rope to lower/rap. It's a really really fun route, get at it.

^you beat me!

The rope/s pull fine. I would recommend a 70m for that climb. You can TR it with that long of a rope. Extend the anchors over the lip if you plan to TR.

There is no rappel on the upper wall, except over Eros. The walkoff is really easy and the summit view should not be missed. There are a few cuts that make getting back to your packs easy. After the switchbacks, you will notice a faint trail on your left that leads into the woods. Take this trail and you will pop out of the rhodo's right next to Winged Mongrel.

I've climbed it a few times, but going up there with a friend Saturday who hasn't climbed up there to try and do a bunch of stuff. Just trying to make the best use of time. If there was a rap we could get to fast rather than hitting the summit and hiking back I'm sure that would be faster than hiking to the top from Lost in Space and then back down and around.

We'll be climbing mostly at middle, but some at main too hopefully. May just do it at the end of the day. Will be hitting up a little bit of everything. Hopefully Line of Fire, and Hard Rock Cafe, along with some fun laps up No Free Lunch and Lost In Space

The upper wall bakes in the sun later in the day, as does most of Hawksbill. I've found that Winged Mongrel and Eros both catch shade again later in the day. Both are great routes with lots of exposure. Both can easily be done in a short amount of time. There is also a 12 right there that can be led or TR'ed, steep!

I understand wanting to get in a bunch of routes. You could also leave an anchor at the top, which you can retrieve on your last ascent. The major problem with this is that you would have to probably make two anchors. The finish of Lost in Space is more to the right and would probably require two rappels. Once you get that side trail dialed in, it is probably just a difference in a few minutes between walkoff and rappel.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
