So, my mom (who's not a climber) and I are going on a two-week Norwegian cruise hitting up eight different coastal cities. I'd LOVE to climb one day while I'm there since this is probably my only chance to go to Norway, but I'm struggling to find a climbing guide or company that runs trips from the cruise ports.
I'm able to bring shoes and harness, but not a rope or any other gear because of weight/space restrictions on this little cruise ship. Thus, I need to hook up with a guide or tour organization (and if I do so I probably can't use my own gear anyway). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi. What dates are you coming through Bergen? Plenty of great sport climbing in the Bergen city area. If timing works out and more importantly the rainy Bergen weather behaves we can go climb at some crags in the area. I do not know of any guide companies to speak of, but there is also a local climbing club of people usually looking for partners to climb.
I can't be of much help for the other cities, but if you are in Bergen we have a car and all the gear. In any case, hopefully you get some climbing in Norway, because the rock is fantastic in places and the scenery is typically stunning.
