Are people still climbing on the rock by the train tracks just outside of Burlington?

Also there were some areas in the town near Burlington that begins with the letter 'W'
I will try and track down some old note but it was very long ago,

Are there climbs of Russ Clune's ? In the woods, along the shores of lake Champlain ?

The amount of climbing that has been done in the lake Champlain valley has never been reported on
The history is lost but many great climbers come out of skiing roots grounded in Vermont.

Go Bernie. . . .

Amanda,

I'm off perpetually. Live in central NY right now and headed to NRG for . . .a week? Come meet up if you'd like.

Heyo, the lady and I (and maybe another friend) are looking at getting out Friday morning (I work at 2:30). Still tentative and weather-dependent but I can keep in touch if you'd like. Somewhere in Bolton Valley, Upper/Lower or the Quarry.

I can't climb this friday-sun. That's my deal every other weekend. If you can get out before then this week keep me posted. I climb Bolten often as it is close. Always looking climb, I can climb from a.m. to p.m. if your looking to make a day out of it. Got a rack and I can belay well. Looking to meet others who enjoy climbing! -Ryan

Good for the next two days!
Thanks everyone.
I guess desperate pleas have a bit of an effect.

The train tracks outside Burlington are called the "Winooski Cut". I believe people still climb there. That might be the town starting with 'W' you're thinking of.

I've heard PD isn't fond of folks climbing there, though I've yet to find that out for myself.

Thanx, years ago there was a group of us that kept quiet, and put in twenty? lines.
Some one later printed out a funny four or five page comic guide .
That would be cool if any one still has one of those to share here.
