Is there any primitive camping near Mt Charleston? I'm not a big fan of developed campgrounds, RV's, generators...you get the picture :)

I would suggest Mack's Canyon, its just after the sawmill trailhead. I dont think fires are allowed there in the summer though. Go all the way to the end of the road, its worth it. High clearance is recommended.

Definitely no fires after mid-April, but yeah there is a lot of beautiful primitive camping. Mack Rd is great, there is also a fireroad just south of the intersection of Deer Creek and Lee Canyon roads that we often hit up.
