Beer and burgers near Mt. Shasta

We're looking to climb Shasta in a couple of weeks. I don't know the area. Does anybody have recommendations for a good place to get a celebratory beer (or two) and burgers near the mountain? |

Dunsmuir brewery awesome burgers and beer. The Goat Tavern has closed but there is suppose to be Itna brewery moving into the Goat Tavern. Cant go wrong at the Dunsmuir brewery |

If you're looking for decent food in town, Say Cheese has solid pizza and their beer selection is usually pretty good. |
