Logan climbers! advice/general questions

Hey all,

I'll be working a clinical internship up in Logan from June 1st thru July 31st and had a few questions.

First and foremost, I will have Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off and would love to get some climbing done in the area. With the Rockhaus unfortunately closing (I think?), finding climbing partners just became an internet event. I'm bumming it out of my car so to save space I'm limited to my rope, shoes, and a few draws in terms of gear. However, just because I lack most of my gear doesn't mean I'm just limited to sport, I love trad and bouldering if you have the means!

My housing plans unfortunately fell through and while I don't mind bumming it out of my car, if anyone knows of a potential housing situation for June and July I'm all ears.

I was also wondering if there are any major concerns fellow dirtbags can share regarding places to/to not camp out. I was planning to spend a mix of the time up Green canyon, Right Fork, and a few places in Logan itself I think are alright for the car. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Feel free to PM, leave a message here, or text me (719-332-2930)

Hi Leo,

I have been trying to get out on Sundays lately. Let me know if you want to get out. I am typically up for whatever, climb a lot of moderates.

I think the Forest Service here is pretty lax, so I bet you won't be hassled camping. The established campgrounds are probably going to get crowded. Right hand fork is probably a good place close to the climbing. Franklin basin might not be as crowded, but is farther up the road. Maybe check out Card Canyon?

Hey Leo
I live in Logan and try to get out a couple times a week. I'm leading up to .12b. I would be happy to climb with you and show you around any time. Could probably show you some good spots to camp too. Just say the word
