Adopt a Crag Denver Area: What crag needs it the most?

What crag in the Denver Area/Front Range needs a clean up or trail rebuild the most? Are there any groups other than the Access Fund that coordinate giving crags a facelift and keep track of progress in this area?
If anyone knows a dirty crag or a popular crag with an eroded approach, please share, and/or point me in the right direction. Already have people to do the work, just need some help picking where exactly...

Why not contact the BCC (Boulder Climbing Community).
Their Front Range Climbing Stewards are currently working on
the Royal Arch trail in Boulder, and probably could use some
help up there.

Thanks! I'll ask them.
So the BCC is in charge of the boulder area. Would any by chance know what group organizes areas like clear creek and castlewood canyon?

Bump. Following up on Jack's question, are there any groups (other than the BCC) or individuals that help with, or oversee, trail building or general maintenance of climbing areas close to Denver (e.g., Clear Creek, N Table, S Platte, Castlewood Canyon, etc.)? I know that there are some areas in CCC that could use some tlc, but I wouldn't want to step on any toes if we organized a crag clean-up. Thanks for any info, all!

Canal Zone from the parking lot to the creek. All options are steep and eroded, but I am guessing Jeffco probably has something in the works.

I'm one of the Front Range Climbing Stewards. We have some projects coming up in the Jeffco area. Darkside bouldering area in July to start. Contact me if you want to set something up. We're currently working on the Amphitheater trail in Gregory Canyon, here's an Eventbrite link for volunteer opportunities:

We'll also be starting some work in the Boulder Falls area in June.

I can't think of one that needs more attention than Morrison.

Thanks, guys, I'll be in touch!

@Jim- there's a pretty nice road that leads from the Canal Zone parking lot to the creek. It's right past the gate on the east side of the parking lot.

East Colfax in CCC could use a trail up the talus field. It is very loose, and there is a possibility of raining rocks down on belayers at the bottom. Some flat belay areas would also be nice.

This is a pretty new crag with many easy routes, so it tends to get busy. The easiest routes are easily accessible, but the ones up the talus field look like nice lines.

Thanks Sadie. I've wanted to take that road but the gate has a sign for the Church ditch Co saying no trespassing. Maybe that's just a CYA sign for them and using the road is no problem, but with my luck I'd be using the road on the day they decide to enforce it.

Jack,
You can also contact the the Pikes Peak Climbers Alliance. I know they are looking for help with projects in the southern region, Red Rocks, Shelf, etc. Send me a text if you want the contact info.

I agree with Rick. Although small the bouldering areas in Morrison need some improvements. Graffiti has been a major problem at this crag for the past few years. Some of the best Boulder problems have been defaced with graffiti. Additionally the trail is being taken over by overgrowth, causing people to create their own.

Another new moderate crag near CCC, the Tiers of Zion, is now scheduled for a volunteer work day on June 27th. The goal is to stabilize key belay areas and parts of the access trail BEFORE the area gets deeply impacted (vis a vis Canal Zone and others nearby).

This is being organized primarily through Jefferson County Open Space, which now has a climbing team among its staff and is training volunteer stewards to give some love to various JeffCo locales. (btw, this speaks partly to the earlier posted question about who else in addition to the Access Fund organizes clean ups and trail work for Denver-area crags)

I believe there will be an EventBrite sign up thingie available soon, but in the meantime, feel free to PM me if you're interested in helping out. I am collecting names to forward to JeffCo until they post the event sign up system.

Thanks!
