Female Climbers Wanted for Photography Essay

Quick introduction, my name is Matt Baldelli and I am a professional adventure photographer working on a new photo essay of female rock climbers and their favorite place to climb with a great story at that crag. The concept is fairly simple, all that would be needed is a paragraph or two of your story, your favorite crag and then a short portrait session at the crag which should last anywhere from 20-40 minutes. The images for this essay I am trying to capture is static portrait of the athlete with the crag/route in the background in between climbs. Wearing exactly what you would be doing climbing, looking exactly how you would look during climbing or just finished up. The photographs can be taken in between climbs if you are out with your friends so the 20-40 minutes can be divided up over an hour or two. This would give me adequate time to setup and you wouldn’t make a separate trip to the location and can still enjoy climbing! Trying my best to avoid overlapping locations if possible, but will travel all over New England.

This photo essay would be used mainly on my website & blog, but I would love to submit it to Rock and Ice in the future. In trade for your time for the photographs and your short story, you would be able to have use of to the images to download for print and post to social media.
