Red Chili's sizing information

So I am looking at possibly picking up some Red Chili's shoes, either Octans, or Matadors, or both. Just wondering if anyone can help out with some sizing info. I normally wear a 9.5 in Five Ten for comfort, my Blanco's are 8.5 and fit tight. I also have Evolv Shaman's in 9.5 and they are snug to tight. 42.5 in Scarpa Vapors, and I could probably go to a 42 in those.

Also does anyone know, aside from the closure systems, are there any differences between the Matador Lace and VCR?

Do yourself a big favor and have your favorite resoler have that for shit RX1 or RX2 replaced with something better such as Five Ten C4 or Onyxx (Or Vibram XS Edge).

You won't regret it!

Don't worry Locker, if I get em I'll have em on out to you for some C4 soon enough, just need to figure out sizing on them as they are not exchangeable or returnable once I order them.

Seems to fit "true to size"
Street Shoe: US 13 (sometimes 12.5)

Red Chilis (Spirit): UK 11 for sport / gym climbing tight with reasonable comfort
UK 10.5 for extra tight fit.

Evolv: 12.5 is like RC UK 11
Five Ten: Size 13 for all day crack comfort
LS: 45.5/46 is like RC UK 11

I actually have no issue with the RC rubber. Not quite as good as stealth, but not bad. Just as sticky, but a little less firm for edging. Stickier than eTrax or XSGrip2.

Sticky enough for sure. But wears out quickly. Quicker than most.

I wear 9.5 in Mocs for a pretty comfortable fit. 41.5 is Solutions for performance. I had a pair of Red Chili Spirit VCR's that fit just about perfect in a UK 8.5.

I actually loved how the rubber performed/felt, but like Locker said, they blew out fairly quickly.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
