Yosemite first 2 weeks of June

Hi all,

As the title says, I'm looking for a climbing partner for Yosemite for the first two weeks of June. I arrive in LA the 1st and will need to do some shopping, so the earliest I can make it there would be June 3rd. I need to be back in LA on June 15th.

I mainly do bouldering and sport climbing. My thoughest sport climb so far is a 7b (5.12b) and I managed to top a few 7a second or third go recently in Thailand. However, I've only done a little trad and crack climbing last July in Yosemite.

The first few days I'd love to hone my trad skills and do some classics. The end goal, if possible, is either/both The Nose or Half Dome in a day. Not quite sure how realistic this would be for someone with my skills. Clearly my partner would need to be pretty well versed in trad climbing.

As for gear, I am willing to buy what's missing, so I'm sure between the two of us we would have enough stuff.

I will be in California in the time from Mai 28th til June 15th. I'm from Berlin-Germany spending some vacation here in the U.S. I mainly did bouldering in Germany and I am looking for some guys who I can join for bouldering in yosemite. I don't know the area at all and would be happy about someone to show me some good places. I do boulders between 6a and 7a but unfortunately I have only little experience in climbing. Let me know if that fits to your ideas!

Thanks for the offer, Niklas. I'm not really looking to boulder though, my main goal is to do trad multi-pitches and perhaps some sport climbing as well.

Got a camp spot? Yo might get me down if you have a site...I could push you up a couple of things, best i can offer is something like Serenity/Sons. Don't have the guns for NIAD or HDIAD (?)

Don't have a camp spot yet, as I would prefer to stay at Camp 4. So an early morning camp in front of the ranger's shack it will be :).
