Just as MP has done with mt.biking and now skiing, perhaps setting up a new site for bouldering would have some organizational, lack of clutter, and other nuanced advantages. I'me not say'n, just say'n.

Isn't the weather out west nice enough that things like this shouldn't be happening?

I proposed the same thing awhile back. Great idea. It is Mountain Project not Pebble Project.

I disagree, its really kind of nice to have one database to search.

How many different "projects" do we need? Pretty soon there will be a project for everything...Camping Project, Whitewater Project. I'm not into bouldering but I don't think there needs to be separate site for it. Then we might as well split Mountain Project into Apline, Trad, etc.

What's the point? It's a flavor of climbing, just like big walls and alpine. Should those be split out as separate sites as well? Is it really that hard on a site organized by sub-forum to look at what you like and not look at those you don't care about?

Probably for the best. We all know its not real climbing anyway....

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
