Climbing in the Philippines June-August

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be in Los Banos (Luzon) doing an internship from June through August. I've read that there are some great crags in the Philippines, and I'd love to climb while I'm there (yeah, rainy season sucks, but I'll take what I can get). Does anyone know the best way to find partners in the Philippines? Are there any local climbing groups that would be worth joining? Any advice about nearby crags would also be great. I'm mainly looking to sport climb, but bouldering or trad would also be cool. Thanks!

hey! I will be in the philippines for a few months come the end of this week as well. Have you found any information regarding finding partners. Shoot me an email if your finding it difficult perhaps we can get together. Im planning to bring rope, draws, and most likely my rack as well. batesshane@icloud.com
