RANT:

So we skiers got screwed this winter on powder days. Runoff season seemed to start in February and it stopped snowing. But that's ok, I'm an optimist. "At least I'll have a good desert climbing season this spring."

NOPE!!! I have had to bail on trips to Indian Creek, Moab, and now Zion because it won't stop raining and it is getting down into the 40's at night!!!

WTF?

It was a good winter in the desert this year - t-shirt weather with no crowds. Great spring skiing is happening about now. I don't kayak, but I imagine is really good right now. And overnight 40s is balmy. Oh, and ice climbing was exceptional this winter! Just gotta take what the weather gives you...

It's been a pretty good spring in the desert as well. I live in Zion and this week has been our first week of rain since March 5th (there was one small patch 2 weeks ago)

I know it sucks, but there has been great climbing most days.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
