You are boring. Please go away.

66 bucks a month is about middle of the road for modern gyms. I have gyms within 2 hours of me and the rates run from $58 to $100 a month, most seem to be at about $65-$79.

The Stonemasters I've met didn't steal from other climbers and would resent your implication that they did.

I love MP! Suddenly this kid is a thief and a lazy ass.

I very rarely pay to go to the gym. My friends have a family pass, they get 6 passes a month and I use them. Does that mean I have a shitty work ethic and should not be trusted around anybodies gear? No.

... but because I have never paid before, I am having a hard time forking up $17 for a day entry, or $400 for a 6 month pass.

Damn dude, you should get yourself some disability checks and section 8 housing. You got the attitude for it/

Well dude i think it goes to show there are a lot of very cold people in the world. That being said, $400 for 6 months over 2 years would build you one hell of a home bouldering wall if you have the space for it.

I've never lived in a place with a climbing gym but even as an engineering student making dang good money in the summer i would never pay that much. Much like you i always look for the best bang for my buck and i definitely think you should spend it elsewhere.

Climbing trips, a trad rack, and home training wall is where i would start.

Hope this helps!

The difference is you go when your buddy goes. Dude wants to go everyday without that friend with the free ride.

I love MP too.

It stings alright, but gym facilities never come cheap.

If you go four times a week, that works out to $4/day.

Whoa whoa.. You're cheating the system now. Compromise should not be part of your vocabulary! Do whatever you want. Let the suckers in the office cubicles pay for it.

I've got it!! Go panhandle. You should be to get together that loot in no time by begging for it. Get yourself a sign reads: will work for gym membership or not for beer or drugs.

If I were 18 again I'd be working at a climbing gym, for sure. Seems like a perfect solution to your problem.

What about the climbers that work for NPS? Look into who are major stakeholders at Momentum. They ain't climbers that come up with the millions. Ya'll are a bunch of uptight cubicle jockies trying to justify your existences of working to pay of your precious gym memberships.
so your point is: "stealing is ok, as long as you don't steal from climbers"

Dude i really hope your not as dumb as you seem right now. A- Take a course in sarcasm. B- if your that concerned about teaching youth work ethic and good morals you should go help out some club or organization. Talk is cheap.

You should go outside and blow off some steam. Unless of course your at work, in which case your time on MP is stealing a pay hours from whoever you work for.
