Can anyone comment on the Arc'teryx Psiphon Pullover? I am assuming it is relatively new because it doesn't have any reviews. I was looking at this and the Outdoor Research Ferrosi as a light weight soft shell for alpine climbs and shaded rock climbing. I know the Ferrosi has great reviews but Arc'teryx slim fit works perfect for my frame.
I don't have any experience with either of those jackets (although I've heard good things about the Ferrosi), but, in typical Mountain Project fashion, I'm going to recommend a product that you didn't ask for anyone's opinion on. The Psiphon appears to be a very similar piece to the Black Diamond BDV Hoody. I've been very happy with how mine has performed over the past year or so. I'm 5'11" ~150 lbs. and the medium fits me just right. Definitely worth some consideration as well.

I just recently got the Arc'teryx Psphon pullover. It's a super light pullover, the fabric is pretty sturdy/durable and would provide some light weather protection. The hood rolls up a little awkwardly(maybe I'm not doing it right) but the hood stays securely on like most the arc'teryx climbing jackets...exceptionally well with or without a helmet. I'm 5'9'' and 145 so a small fits snug, if you want some room size up. It's been my go to jacket since I got it. One downside...it's difficult to take off sometimes, or a little awkward.
The Psiphon is a very sweet piece (once you look past the usual dead bird retail cost). The body is a little lighter weight than the OR Ferrosi hoody (love, love the Ferrosi pant BTW) and the hood is a lot lighter since it is the windshirt hood borrowed from the Squamish Hoody. It is a pullover so it doesn't have lower pockets or a full zip, which makes it better under a harness. Which makes it work really well under a harness are the hem lock thingys (foam cylinders that don't allow the shirt to ride up under harness).
For sizing, the cut is very "athletic." I am either a medium or large in Arc stuff and I needed to go large for this piece.
