City of Rock Rest Day activities.

I will be spending a week in the City this June. I am not man enough to climb every day. What should I do with my days off? So far I have found the Springs in Malta and some mountain biking several hours away (pocatello, twin falls). Any other ideas? |

you could ride your bike in the Salt River Range - take the turn (clear creek i think) in Naf. |

As for what to do Dave gave some good ideas on hiking and biking. Also it is worth checking out some of Oregon trail history. Though the best features are on private land. |

Day drinking. |

We were in Durfee Hot Springs about a mile north of Tracy store last night. Today is a down day so we are driving into Twin Falls to get groceries for the next week. |

Depending on how far you want to drive, there's Craters of the Moon National Monument about 3 hrs away: |

Thanks for all the awesome suggestions. Day Drinking, shooting guns on the scenic by-way and cow tipping will make for an interesting rest day. If I don't end up in jail I should be able to "send sick" the following day. |
