Was looking at building a kit with the MSR pocket rocket and a snow peak 700, but noticed the Jetboil Minimo. I know there's a increase in weight but it seem the efficiency makes up for that. Also the increased adjustment with the Jetboil allows for true cooking. Any thoughts? |

MSR windboiler was my choice over the mini mo. Way better in windy conditions. Also simmers like the jetboils |

If you want to do actual cooking take a look at the primes eta lite or just the pocket rocket. Even in the minimo its going to be hard to do actual cooking, other than boiling water. It is easier to eat out of but if you're boiling water id rather eat out of the food pouch. |

The Minimo has a new valve which allows very low/consistent adjustments. I've seen some great reviews. I will check out the others listed. Thanks. |

MSR microrocket. Best stove this dirtbag has ever owned. |

I use the Optimus crux lite as I'm a bit toward the minimalist side. Not great in the wind, but boils water in under 2 minutes, fits iin my cook cup easily, and weighs 2oz. |

I just saw the MSR windboiler for the first time this weekend. Seems like the perfect blend between the Reactor and a Jetboil - best of all worlds. If I were in the market it would definitely be my next stove. As is my Jetboil Sol Ti is still rocking strong, so no need to change. |

Wow, I've had the same MSR pocket rocket for 5-6 years and have loved it. I now see that am way behind on stove tech reading this thread! Might be time to upgrade. |
