Description Suggest change

Frightlight links the first half of Frightnight into the second half of Bela Lugosi. Featuring desperate climbing between good shakes, the technical crux comes just above the third bolt, involving a tension sequence and a strong gaston. Two large lock-offs and a tricky sequence guard the finish into Bela Lugosi. From the fifth bolt move left into the "karate chop" and pod crux of Bela Lugosi. The grade given applies to this finish (the direct finish, Frightnight, is much harder).

All in all, Frightlight offers great moves, good position, and solid rock.

Location Suggest change

On the Batwall, just right of Bela Legosi.

Protection Suggest change

Bolts. A long runner can be placed on the fifth bolt to protect the longest runout on the climb, making it relatively safe. However, without this you may take a long fall onto the fourth bolt and the route will be quite scary.
