Raining in Moab
Raining today, will it be safe to climb tomorrow? |
No!!! If you do, be sure to go to Wall Street and leave your car door open and belay over the white line. |
Probably not as it rained pretty hard and long last night. Give it a couple of days depending on the weather today. The sandy sections of the mtnbike trails should be great, go biking instead. |
Give it till at least...AT LEAST Sunday, even if you see others climbing the rock will not be dry nor safe. |
Give it a few days to dry out, especially if it's overcast. Fortunately that is the spectacular aspect of Moab: there is a lifetime of amazing hiking and bikng trails to explore on your days off. |

It looks like the six shooter web cam image is from yesterday. The abajos cam is from this morning and it's a whiteout. |

It's never a bad time to be reminded of this simple truth: |

Working now...please folks go hiking, biking, and/or skiing. |

Good input thanks, we also stopped in town and talked with folks at the climbing stores. They said at least 24 hours of sun, and the sun does not shine at night. Sigh, it is our last day here for this year. |
