I'll be driving into Idaho on the 20th and heading into oregon on the 23rd or 24th depending on climbing schedule and looking for someone to climb with. 70%sport-30% trad. Sport routes I enjoy are usualy in the 11 range with an occassional 12 thrown into the mix. 10's are nice if I'm burnt or new to a crag style. Trad climbing for me is still in the air as to consistency but I usually get stoked on low to mid 5.10's but again, this depends on familiarity with rock type/quality and terrain features. I have sent 11's on trad but they are few and far between. I'm a smith native if that gives you any idea as to my style. No tour guides please. I want to explore city with someone else new to the routes we choose. Having fun is a big part of why I climb but I also enjoy taking my routes a little more seriously than the weekend worrior. I am willing to bend my criteria for the right person but not break it all together. What can I say, I know what I like:)

I'm on the same schedule, heading back to Portland on the 23rd. I could meet you in City of Rocks on the 20th. I'm into sport or trad. I like to work on 5.12 sport routes and pretty much anything up to hard 5.11 trad. I don't quite understand your weekend warrior comment. They're some of the more serious climbers i know. But don't worry, i'm funemployed. Shall we climb? Do yo have a guide book?

I would love to add that to my list of awesome quotes garret. Your so awesome.

Hi Evan. It would be great to hang out with a fellow portlander. Yeah, my weekend warrior comment was a little off-kilt. I guess what I was pointing to in that comment was to say that I prefer to climb with people who spend most of there time on rock and not plastic. No offense meant by it.
Unfortunately, my schedule just changed for the trip home by one day. I'll be leaving from Ogden on Tuesday afternoon now instead of monday afternoon which means climbing woudnt be able to happen until wed-thurs. If that still works, I'm down. If not, then I understand. Also, I lived in PDX for quit some time. I bet we know some of the same people.

Derrick, sounds good. I can at least climb with you Tuesday and Wednesday. I should take off by Thursday though. We probably do know some of the same folks.
