Crampon Conversion

Hello people, I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks on converting a wire bail step in system to something I can simply strap my hiking boots into for the bugs glacier travel. I know Im probably going to need to trade crampons in on a pair of hybrid semi step in strap ones, but I was wondering If anyone has any tricks in conversion. thanks

Going from auto to strap on is going to be harder than the other way around, as you are missing the posts on the toe that keep your boot from sliding forwards and where the straps usually mount. Probably more trouble than its worth
