New climber. Needs Guidance

My wife, a buddy, and I have climbed in a gym a few times and are avid backpackers. We have done tons of top rope in the gym and a few days of sport with a auto belay as backup. We planning on taking a lead climbing class in the DFW area in the next week or so. I was told about this forum by a climber at canyons in Frisco. The big question is, are there any seasoned climbers willing to work with some complete noobs to climbing outdoors? We all have harnesses and a basic sport rack and a rope. Any help would be appreciated. We're looking at the horse shoe canyon ranch. We're about 5 hours away, we're looking at making a weekend of it in a few weeks. Thanks in advance!

Hey Chase, I'm on my way down to Horseshoe Canyon Ranch on Monday, April 13th, and will be there until Sunday. Not sure if you'll be able to make it this week, but if you want to, come join me and a couple friends. Love to climb with you and your buddies.
