I don't mind when people bring dogs or kids to the crags; in fact I usually love meeting them all. The crags are public places and all are welcome. Being a public place, though, also requires that people be considerate and respectful of others. When babies start screaming or dogs whiz on your gear or climbers cry out f-bombs then it's time to take the kids/dogs/climbers home for their naps.

You mean the Front Range? I thought Grand Junction, Durango, Ouary, Frisco and places like that were awesome!

When I retire I'm moving to one of those towns. I'm getting me a pot store job and a Prius!

Thanks! I try to find out a lot about what I'm talking about before I go into smartass mode lol ;) Doesn't look like you're an Administrator.

Is it too much to ask to drop your baby off at the dog kennel for a few hours before you head up to the crag?

That or involve those grand parents, neighbours, ice cream men....it takes a village to get in a climbing day!

Some crag babies can really bring it. There was one wailing so loud in my gym yesterday that I thought Sharma was back in town.

They only cry when you cut them off. Keep them boozed up and there are no problems.

Oh, are we talking about infants here?
