For Sale Black Diamond double sky lounge portaledge with fly
|
I decided it was time to upgrade my ledge so I'm selling my old one. It s a black diamond double sky lounge. I probably bought it around 2002. Its been up elcap 3 times and a couple short routes in Zion. It probably has around 20-25 nights in it. Like all sky lounges the bed material sags a bit. It has a few minor wear marks on the bed that have been covered liberally with tenacious tape. The rigging and the bag are in good shape. The fly is a metolius/mtn hardwear and it actually fits the ledge very well you just have to adjust the height of the bed like any fly. I have the original pole for the fly and it has only been deployed for 2 nights. It is an original mtn hardwear fly and has 3 windows. The bag for the fly is integral and you can just hang the ledge and have the fly ready to drop down. A new ledge these days is running $700 or more and a fly is around $250-400 so I think its a pretty good deal for a fly with a ledge. One other thing I really like about this ledge is how easy it is to set up. I have set it up my self in under 5 minutes since it just unfolds when you take it out of the bag. The one downside to the easy set up is that it doesn't have bed tensioners. Its definitely still got some life left in it. Its in the boulder area if you're local and want to avoid shipping. |

The BD Skylounge is awesome, it sets up so easy, unlike the current model of BD ledge. |
