I'm visiting Scottsdale for a work conference and I'll be staying at the Fairmont Resort. I'll have a couple mornings free (mid-week, most likely) and would love to get some climbing in. I need to be back at the hotel no later than noon-ish, so I'm looking for someone who is open to a dawn patrol... say 6am-11am?

I've been climbing close to 15 years and lead up to 5.12. Safe, attentive belayer, and I use belay devices according to the manufacturer's suggested methods (kind of a pet peeve of mine, actually).

Anyone want to get out? I suspect Camelback is really my only option given my time slots, but I'm also open to any of the local gyms if they open early. Or maybe you know of another crag close enough?

I'm planning on bringing personal gear, 60M very skinny rope, and 12 draws. Currently not planning on bringing a trad rack, but I can if there's a reason to.

Pinnacle peak is an option too. It's in Scottsdale

Want to get out and climb one morning? I only brought shoes/harness/chalk after seeing the posting for the bee swarms on Camelback. Will contribute gas money and breakfast though!
