Bump for the weekend

That's not bad - a PT gig with light works and some people skills paying ~$20/hour for a gig with a reputable employer.
I'd think you'd get a line of under-employed climbers and ski-bums lined up soon. Good luck!

Thanks Tony, that's what we're hoping! I know I would've loved a job like this before I went full-time.

I would have applied if I had any experience as a ropes course facilitator. Unless you consider an O-Course with no ropes an equivalent.

If you have any other positions that will open up, I would love to hear about them. Good Luck!

Thanks Eliot, I'll be sure to post up here whenever we have something new. Good luck in your search!

Hello, Challenge, I am very interested in this position, and feel that I can be a great fit for the job; however, I am unsure if y'all are still taking applications? I did a search on the CU employment site and did not see this position listed. Hopefully, I missed it. For the sake of posterity I will be submitting my resume, and a full cover letter tomorrow around noon (east coast time). I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for posting this opportunity!

I am glad that you are both interested. Nick, to apply, see above. Cody, if you sent your application at noon today, be aware it has not come through.

The position is open until filled. When it is filled, I will post up here so you will know - until you see that post, we are still taking applications.

Thank you!

I'm interested in this position as well. Is it still open? Will there be any confirmation email upon receiving a resume and cover letter?

Thanks.

I don't know what else to say...

I was attempting to politely ask whether or not, upon emailing my resume and cover letter, I would receive an email informing me that challenge had received it. Luckily, I am literate, and can confirm the fact that no where in the above forum is the answer to my question stated.

So, as to what else to say, either : "yes, we will send an email to confirm that we have received your cover letter and resume" or "no, we will not send an email to confirm that we have received your cover letter and resume."

I believe we were both referring to your first question, which had been answered in the post immediately above yours.

To clarify, here's how the process works.
1. Decide whether you are interested in the position and whether you feel you are qualified.
2. Send your resume and cover letter to challenge@colorado.edu
3. You will be contacted to let you know whether you have been selected for an interview.

If you have any questions about the position or the hiring process, you can direct them to challenge@colorado.edu

Hope that clears up any confusion. I'm glad there is interest in the position and looking forward to reading your applications.
