Was at Lincoln on the Ides of March and it was still fat, but definitely wet. We stayed in the shade and had a blast still. |

Anybody had a look at NE face of Notch Top lately? |
|
Almost always done as a fall early winter route.... |

Martin Barnett wrote:Anybody had a look at NE face of Notch Top lately?I was up that way Friday, the cornices are there and there were a lot of tracks in the snow from rollers. |

Any news on Martha? |

Matthew E wrote:Any news on Martha?I was up there a week ago Sunday, very little ice was left then and that was before all this warm weather. |

Has anybody laid eyes on the avy slopes above Flour Power (Otis) recently? |

Anyone know if Ames or Bridalveil are still in? |
|
Jikimika Dinglehoffer Merritt wrote:Anyone know if Ames or Bridalveil are still in?Not likely, been in the 60's hear. Last I heard Ames was fat 3 weeks ago, but we have had lots of warm weather. |

Just climbed Hidden Falls (Wild Basin, RMNP) today. It's still in, albeit pretty pocked and stepped out. It's somewhat fragile on the sides, but the center is still sturdy. Was a lot of fun, and we were the only ones present. No snowshoes needed--the trail is packed well. Weather was mild back at the falls compared to the drive in (we came via Lyons). |

Just as a obvious note to everyone...careful out there. I've talked with several people about big stuff falling down, so be wary! |

Anyone get a gander at Alexander's lately? |
|
Jikimika Dinglehoffer Merritt wrote:Anyone know if Ames or Bridalveil are still in?Climbed ames on march 18th. To wet for a party to go up it. Whole climb was a waterfall basically. |

Ryan Marsters wrote:Has anybody laid eyes on the avy slopes above Flour Power (Otis) recently? No ice. Thin snow at the bottom. Avy conditions wee bit sketchy - we followed a left branch couly and snow knife edge up left to stay out of the upper bowl. Skiers may like all but the bottom at the moment pics |

Climbed Martha today and conditions were great. Lots of ice and the snow was perfect. |

JonW wrote:Climbed Martha today and conditions were great. Lots of ice and the snow was perfect.Oh yeah! Not a ton of ice but enough for some good sticks at some of the steps. Snow was nice and firm... Dreamweaver and The Flying Dutchman on the other hand... Unsurprisingly the snow isn't as consolidated and it's a bit of a slog, however there are steps in there now. No ice in Dreamweaver, good ice on the step in TFD. |
