Van Partitions... easy to install?

it's an unfortunate truth that theft occurs with relative frequency in climbers parking lots and trailheads (see index, t-wall). while i have a renter's insurance policy i am also interested in creating some additional security in my van by adding a partition ( realtruck.com/kargo-master-…).

does anyone have experience installing these? i'm lucky to have a van without rear/side windows so if i put this thing in and disarmed the "unlock all doors function" on the driver and passenger doors then i think it would be a pretty theft-proof system.

any input would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't installed anything in a van before but have for my excursion. I called the manufacturer for what i bought and they told me how it would install and even sent the paperwork/video on it.

Call them up and ask (with your exact van model). Worst case you may have to drill and tap holes into your van. But if you are carrying lots of valuables in your can it might be worth finding a shop who would install it for you if you didn't feel comfortable doing the drilling/tapping yourself

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
