New ascenders?

Any beta on the new Petzl or BD ascenders? BD Index looks like a new design and the Petzl Ascension looks like just an update the already well rated ascender.

Any other brand worth looking at right now?

I handled the new BD ascenders and they just felt weird and too big for my hands. I'm a relatively big guy not huge hands though. I really like the Petzl ones that I've got. The BD ones also don't have a index finger rest piece some people may find it a plus but I found it contributed to the odd geometry of the ascender
